Cooking Class Signup

People's Grocery offers FREE Adult Nutritional Cooking Classes for W. Oakland residents. Priority goes to residents faced with chronic disease and/or residents enrolled in the federal food stamp program (SNAP). Get some of the delicious recipes learned at the class here.

 

 

Each session runs 6 consecutive weeks and are offered throughout the year.

Participants learn:

  • Tasty recipes utilizing fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables
  • Nutritional and medicinal values of food
  • Culinary Basics

Classes are held at: 

deFremery Park (1651 Adeline St. @ 18th)

Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
